Why, may I ask does this administration and progressive party hate a minority media segment that fails to agree and worship their anointed Messiah? What lurks in the shadows that they fear so much that they are willing to go to war against them? He won, he is the President, what do they have to worry about, the socialist state agenda is healthy and thriving? One can't help but to wonder why the left can't tolerate apposing view points, especially when they have the overwhelming majority of the media in their pocket. Talk about insecurity?

I really don't see what the big deal is, honestly. I watch Fox, NBC and some CNN. I guess I just have the ability to form my own opinions and not have to hate the opposition.

The poor thing just can't get a damn thing done while Fox is in his way. I really think this is about doing away with the constitution one freedom at a time.

It is sad to think that freedom of the press and ability to express one's personal opinion is such a threat. I guess if you're a progressive socialist it fits the bill. Seems to be a former president named Wilson attempted the same thing back in the day.

Why would any liberal want Fox news shut down?

It contributed to Obama’s reelection.

Otherwise, as already correctly noted, liberals have been strong advocates of First Amendment rights, particularly that of a free press.
