Kirk in time would probably have followed in my footsteps as have so many others and become a Noahide, a potential convert if he didn't find peace and the light in Christianity. At worst, he was an ally of Israel and the importance of the religious history there, he followed Jesus footsteps apparently (something I wanted to do when I was Christian). He has an issue with some of Bibis policies and he isn't alone in this respect. I have heard that the Mossad and IDF have issues with his decisions too (especially the attack on Qatar)and 75% of Israel want an end to the war in Gaza. To suggest Israel was behind his murder is extremely inaccurate though and defies any logic. No Israeli leader would be that reckless to hurt their own country and in fact Kirks death HURTS Israel and the Judeo-Christian values they wish to find support, it doesn't help Israel at all. I say to Bibi, "find an end to the war, please". We need more Judaism theology, not more war. Kirk was a loyal Christian but he understood Judaism customs more than most (though I contend he should not have been recognizing the Shabbot if he wasn't Jewish though I doubt he made a dinner and removed himself from all work and actions as an Orthodox would have so he would be fine to just recognize 'in spirit" as non-Jews can).
