Christmas is a holiday commemorated by Julius 1 in the 4 century. An arbitrary date by a Catholic Pope to coincide with pagan rituals to not piss of the Romans.

Christmas in modern times is a wholly capitalist enterprise that more closely emulates the pagan rituals, than it does the birth of Christ which nobody knows.

Those who are not religious don't care one way or the other, and those who are religious will celebrate it as a religious holiday.

And there are those who will not celebrate it at all.
