While giving trolls and their ilk somewhere to be annoying instead of civilized groups is a fine idea, seeing the posts and more to the point Polls is a major eyesore. How about some kind of auto-ignore of all the 3 flame groups content, including Polls, so you have to sign a "Yes I wish to view stupid people's content" before ya do?

I find that the need to "micromanage how other people change and do things" DISPROPORTIONATELY
is a projection/overcompensation from not managing your own conduct and projections onto others.
People who are too busy improving themselves and interacting mutually, which involves equal give and take ie lots of work,
tend NOT to take issues with this to the degree you do, trying to CHANGE other people "disproportionately,"
instead of focusing inward and changing perceptions on your side first. and EQUALLY to what you ask of others.
Delta there are a number of KEY areas where I found you projecting biases
such as "forgiving pornography as not causing harm"
while overly "blaming Christianity" as teaching abusive mindsets.
You couldn't see the bad in one or the good in the other, so you were painting them both biased.
If you even fix that one area where you are fair to both, see both the good and bad equally,
I would expect the root of all your other issues would resolve themselves in the process.
It would change your perception of conflict, and of other people and groups,
so you would not see any of these things the same way. Try it.

Since posters complain I should not use either flame or taunt threads for "long msgs
attempting" to pick apart people's thinking to connect with them and stop projections,
May I suggest a zone for "Psycho Tropics"
where the messages can get into metaphorical therapy,
(and detailed discussions of "each other's perceptions" and projections)
as part of the interaction. So if people don't like serious deep searching
on this level of "self-awareness of the process" they can avoid THAT thread.
Trollish conversations with SuperDemocrat and Judicial review, that might actually
reveal some good content here and there, can still carry on and possibly
help resolve issues behind the trolling abuse of threads to bait or project onto others unnecessarily. We could see borderline posters like Nutz get support to avoid titles or threads
that otherwise get moved to the Badlands.
Thanks, do you like the idea of a Zone for
Zen conversations that can be spiritually trippy or get trolly/psycho but for the purpose of
therapy and making real connections with people.
If so, I can post msgs there and not overload the light sections with that heavier stuff.
