No we are not letting it go. We have a lot of garbage to take out, and not all of it is in DC. The free press was meant to be many different points of view. Not the same big company spouting the same lies in unison, over and over. Make them spin off assets. It was never meant to be this concentrated, a violation of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.

Proof the present media is nothing but lies. Media: Trump said Neo-Nazis were "very fine people."

Full context:
"they didn’t put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides...

I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally – but you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly. Now, in the other group also, you had some fine people, but you also had troublemakers and you see them come with the black outfits and with the helmets and with the baseball bats – you had a lot of bad people in the other group too."

LOL. He should probably ask his former best bud Ron in FL. His attempt to take on Disney hasn't gone well. :)

Is this how you think trump is going to try to justify shutting down media critics?

This will overshadow abortion and be 2nd only to discontinuation of illegal entry
Media was granted a vast array of freedoms to report on occurrent events-it was called “news”
They moved off of that into complete editorializing or creating news or just lying.
New policies will be that within 48 hours of notification of any violation of the new policies, a Front Page or Prime Time correction retraction must be published .
After that fines and loss of licensing. A free press was Never Designed to be a false press. The press was a specific political adversary of Trump and that will no longer be permitted

The press will remain free due to the 1st amendment. It says exactly that right in there.

.

Earlier on in his political career, a lot of us speculated that President Trump would create his own major media company that would rival the greatness of his real estate empire. I'd still like to see this -- a guarantee that we would always have an outlet for honest news coverage.
