The left seems to think that no sacrifice is too great in order to have a socialist or communist country. They cite the healthcare there, which doesn't appear to be that great. So many Cubans have risked their lives to escape that socialist utopia. That is telling. When people would rather risk dying at sea than staying in Cuba, that tells you all you need to know about life there. And the libs find all that appealing.

He promised them a Democracy but then he imposed a brutal Communist Dictatorship and "nationalized" a.k.a "stole" a large number number of US companies that were doing business in Cuba. There is a reason Cuba looks like it is frozen in time circa 1960 because that is when Communism was imposed. Cuba stands as a monument to the failure of Communism and Castro was the lying asshole that screwed his people.
