Please don't say 'National Security' since Greenland has always been a NATO member and we've had military bases there since WWII.

Greenland does not have significant natural resources that I know of, and if they do, we would not need to annex them. Those industries could be exploited thru investment and their products put on the world markets (which is the same thing if we annexed them).

Is this just about increasing our supply of fresh fish?

Fishing rights is enormous all by itself...but I suspect that Greenland may also have some pretty impressive mineral deposits. Additionally you could make one hell of an international airport there.

Due to climate change, the sea route known as the 'Arctic Bridge' (between Russia & Canada) has become much more navigable.

Agent Orange, at the behest of his master (Vladimer the Great), will try to annex Canada & Greenland using military force, and against the will of the people of Canada & Greenland.

This will start a war between Canada & Greenland against the U.S. and break up NATO.

Russia will use the Artic Bridge to support Canada and Greenland, resulting in a massive Russian army in those countries. Russia will place missile systems in those countries that bypass NORAD's detection systems.

The U.S. will be screwed.

Neither Greenland nor Denmark - need the USA to exploit their own natural resources nor to build an international airport. They alrady have a 2000 m runway - in order to accommodate aircraft, suitable for international flights.

And only a person like you or Trump would come up with the ludicrous idea to construct an airport of international traffic layout, for a territory that is 3.2 times the size of Texas, and accounts only for round about 55,000 people.

Greenland is an independent country with ties Denmark. The people of Greenland do NOT want to part of the U.S. Use of Military Forces would result in a clash of with N.A.T.O. Allies.
