He decided to bring in and provide subsidies to a haute cuisine joint into the hard scrabble community. The kind of joint where the average Braddockite would have to spend a month's income to dine there for one evening. And it was on the kind of street where you wouldn't want to park a nice ride on.

Needless to say, the restaurant closed really quickly.

You have to know your market. If I were going to open a store in Braddock, a payday loan place would be ideal. Or perhaps a joint that sold 40's of malt liquor and Newport singles.

Not some fancy eatery.
