Here is a very convenient article of recent publishing that desperately tries to walk back the PONR scare tactic that has been employed by climate alarmists (affirmationists). Somebody out there realized that telling people we can no longer stop the process would cost a shit load of research grants sooo "let's just take it down a peg.". This article is a farce on its face....and an obvious attempt to mitigate the idea that an inexorable feed back loop could push us past a tipping point.

Will climate feedback loops push us past a “point of no return”?
Tripping the Earth's climate feedback loops could bring us rapid warming that would be hugely damaging in the near term. But over the longer term, our planet can regulate even truly gigantic changes to the atmosphere.
