In a Republic, actually
‘A federal judge granted a temporary restraining order Thursday that stops the Trump administration from pulling back more than $11 billion in public health funding from state and local health departments.

Judge Mary McElroy of the federal district court in Rhode Island granted a 14-day restraining order to a group of 23 states and the District of Columbia that filed a lawsuit against the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) earlier this week.

“The likelihood of success on the merits is extremely strong,” McElroy said at the conclusion of the brief hearing, noting that “the record is voluminous … with allegations of irreparable harm” if the funding were to cease. The states asked for a preliminary injunction and temporary restraining order to stop the cuts from taking effect. The officials claimed the administration acted unlawfully, without any analysis of benefits of the health funding or the dire consequences of termination.’

Yet another example of how reckless and irresponsible the Trump regime truly is.

Government agencies are subject to lawful policies and procedures with regard to justifying terminating funding and/or services.

So, we as a nation are now being run by District Court judges. So much for "democracy", let alone a Republic.

No one voted for any of these clowns outside of Senators. Time for Maxwell's Silver Hammer.

As far as I know there never has been a mandate let alone an outright requirement in our U.S. Constitution for the current district court system to even be in existence. I checked the date the district court system was established by congress through a federal statute under article III. The act was named "The Judiciary Act Of 1789."

It appears to me that the district court system is nothing more than a "block & tackle" or probably more accurately said a "line of scrimmage" to run interference for popular issues with our American constituency that congress does not desire to pass. So to keep our American constituency happy congress passes the legislation that is not popular with congress, but wow, a district court judge says it does not pass constitutional scrutiny so congress cannot pass the legislation. Congress + district court judge = politick'n! How handy it is for the district court judge(s) & congress as they are $leeping in the same bed together! The bonus for the district court judges is they are appointed for LIFE, & only the $enate can fire a district court judge!
