I've actually only seen a couple/few of the really old black and white movies. I did see Grapes of Wrath once only because there was nothing else on at the time, but it was pretty good. They had to rely a lot more on acting skills back then because of lack of special effects, etc.

I only saw it once. While it had some good parts, it was a very slow moving movie.

May I recommend "Jezebel" with Betty Davis and Henry Fonda. You'll hate her guts until the end.

I didn't really like Roadhouse, TBH. I've only seen it once, but I thought it was quite cheesy.

The only old westerns I ever watch are with Clint Eastwood.

This is a newer western and was really good though.
