Fantasy Footballers, what's your strategy on drafting Quarterbacks?

I keep reading that you should wait to the 4th or 5th round to draft your QB but that seems risky to wait that long. QB is the top point producer, at least it has been for me. I think I'm picking 3rd round and will try to get Lamar Jackson again. Also do draft a second QB and if so, what round? I think I will take a second QB in the 4th or 5th round.

How many teams in the league? If its10 or less, you can safely wait that long as there are only really 10 or 11 quality QB's so a good one will still be available. Hell, I had Myhomies last year and still didn't make the cut to the playoffs.

10 teams. I love me some Lamar Jackson so I will probably still pick him in the 3rd round. And then go for my backup QB (hopefully Jayden Daniels) in the 4th or 5th round. I also don't draft a Kicker.

I like to do a top receiver first round, then the next two are Running Backs, then in the 4th I try to get one of the QBs. After that, its Tight Ends, recievers, and defenses. If I'm late in the first round, I will sometimes snag a top 3 QB for trading leverage.

I bailed out of the League at work, now I'm regretting it.

It is a $25 buy in and I didn't want to spend the money.

Is your league a for fun or does it have a buy in?

Lol I would prefer it not be so high, but my son's friend runs the league and he's a big time gambler.

I usually snag a top 6 RB or top 6 WR with my first picks...Often there is still a really good WR or RB available in the 3rd...There are usually A-/B+ QBs available with the 4th or 5th picks, so I normally wait.

I’ll take Josh Allen in the 3rd. Otherwise probably wait until the 5th or 6th.
