Do you remember them? I do. Here are a few;

James Maitland Stewart was born on May 20, 1908, in Indiana, Pennsylvania, to Elizabeth Ruth (Johnson) and Alexander Maitland Stewart, who owned a hardware store.

James Cagney, He was of Scottish, Ulster-Scots, and some English descent. One of Hollywood's preeminent male stars of all time, James Cagney was also an accomplished dancer and easily played light comedy. James Francis Cagney was born on the Lower East Side of Manhattan in New York City, to Carolyn (Nelson) and James Francis Cagney, Sr.

Humphrey DeForest Bogart was born in New York City, New York, to Maud Humphrey, a famed magazine illustrator and suffragette, and Belmont DeForest Bogart, a moderately wealthy surgeon (who was secretly addicted to opium).

Orson Welles was gifted in many arts (magic, piano, painting) as a child. When his mother died in 1924 (when he was nine) he traveled the world with his father.

And let's not forget Rock Hudson. Born Roy Harold Scherer jr. November 17, 1925 – October 2, 1985) was an American actor. One of the most popular movie stars of his time, he had a screen career spanning more than three decades.

Most don't know that he was born in Illinois but he was reared in California.

There were four in there whose names and faces I don't recognize at all, so I'm not so sure how famous they were, but one name conspicuously absent was Kirk Douglas. And I might also add Errol Flynn.
