This tiny little British possession thousands of miles away is going to get another modern hotel to house workers for the boom in deep sea oil drilling and production. No wonder Argentina is making more noises claiming the islands belong to them. Argentina is in serious financial trouble.

Argentina is in serious financial trouble? I don't believe it!

I read Merco news every day and it has article after article about currency and other problems that Argentina is facing. They also have a massive court judgment pending that could cost them billions.

The Falklands?

A great stretch-of-the-legs for the Royal Navy, from time to time.

Actually, they are a great thorn in the side to Argentina that is having severe economic problems. They are demanding, once again, that the islands be "returned to Argentina" when many argue they NEVER were Argentinian. The people who live there almost voted unanimously to remain British and that didn't sit well with the Argentinians.

Problems in that area continue to be difficult, to say the least.

Every so often, the Argentinians appear to need their asses kicked.

The Royal Navy seems both capable and willing to remedy the Argentinians' mental deficiency, when the occasion arises.
