An American blogger has discovered three fake Apple stores operating in Kunming city, China.

Pictures of the stores, their staff and a description of a stroll around them was posted on the BirdAbroad blog.

In the article, she writes about conversations with staff, many of whom were convinced that they were employed by the US electronics firm.

Apple has said it has no comment to make on the discovery of the counterfeit shops

It is sooo easy since Appla has most of their stuff made in China. It might be genuine Apple hardware with just no royalties.

Wow. That's worse (and somehow more amusing) than the Mongkok outdoor markets with their "Tommy" watches and "Nike" shoes.

I think all the real Apple stores in the US are the much bigger epidemic.

I still don't have an Apple anything.
Me neither.
I have MP3 players, a Toshiba laptop, and Droid phones.

No i-anything

Me neither! For all the talk about revolutionary this and revolutionary that, still waiting for them to actually invent something that didn't already exist for half the price. :dunno:
