So if you think that AI is going to make life easier, it is going to make life easier for large corporations, provided they devalue customer service and ignore the problems AI is causing for its customers, like Meta is presently doing.

AI is programmed by humans.
Humans make mistakes.
AI spell check screws me all of the time.
AI voice narration mispronounces words.
AI is canceling accounts without explanation, and when those canceled try and get one, they are unable to discuss anything with a human being. Can Zuckerberg be a bigger douche?

Yes, turns out he can.

This is just the beginning of AI mistakes and hazards.
It will probably get worse.

Instagram is private property ... News 6 can pay for advertising space if they want more viewers ...

Remember five years ago when conservatives, mostly, were complaining about being censored by the social media giants and the left's response was, "they're private companies and can do whatever they want?"

Maybe that wasn't the best take.

There is no need to include the adverb "probably".

It will get worse. Much worse. Since there is neither precedent nor guardrails in place, no one knows how much worse.

Just....worser. ;)

Welcome to a world created by yer wealthy overlords...

You know you might want to at least try and understand the content before you comment.

I've read this story from several different sources ... she has been posting "minute-by-minute" updates on any and all hurricanes ... AND including a shout out to watch her full presentation on News 6 at 5:30pm ... that's spam and the spambot flagged it ... it's Instagram's right to cancel her account ... that level of AI has been around for a long while ...

Paying advertisers on Instagram want this ... I guess you and News 6 are out-of-luck ...

Why do you think there's ever been a world where we wealthy overlords didn't command the common folk? ...

Look who we vote for? ... only wealthy overlords ... the Middle Class is just pathetic in that way ...

It's pretty much why I am counter culture and dislike all wealthy people.

All you need to know is that they read "Lord of the Rings" and now tell us that the Palantir was used by the "Good Guys" to keep in touch

I dropped Face Book years ago.

.

That's how you can tell. I listen to videos about subjects that appeal to one of my favorite interest groups, and are posted with a photo of a speaker whom I trust. There is no video and a canned sounding voice that mispronounces words, that probably have nothing genuine to do with my subject.

I'm learning how to spot these without bothering to click.

Monetizing these platforms was about the dumbest thing to come along in my lifetime. Basically, some jackoff posts a photo of someone I want to hear on YouTube, and then gets paid when I click it.

I know, slightly off topic, but it makes me cranky.
