Plenty of made in USA products but you won't find them in the Walmarts or Costcos typically.

This is something China itself recently fully recognised , say three years go, officially .
Which is why present policy is to boost internal consumption as fast and as much as possible .
Almost a reversal of policy over the previous few decades .
To hopefully counter effects of retaliatory action , like tariffs.

If China can move to Russia's existing position of being virtually self sufficiient , the combination of both Russia and China being self sufficient will certainly go a long way to limiting US growth from these two nations -- should they be so minded to squeeze America very hard .

LOL right, go ahead poke the bear and watch American destroy them with our manufacturing might! Japan made that mistake once. Don't make us fire up the factories and kick the shit out of everyone.

The very first time I went to the US in the 1990's, I bought a baseball. I didn't realise but it was stamped Made In China. So that went in the bin.

The whole planet is China junk.

In the gun world a lot of AR-type accessories are made in China with US branding. They cost 3X+ more than the exact same item the chi-coms knock off after the US contract is fulfilled.

LOL....I bought a set of chi-com made Troy rail covers and you could see where the Troy name of the mold was filled in. Exact same quality as I had Troy rail covers to go by.

I look at it like this, if a US company is gonna have the chi-coms make something for them then claim US-Made they can fucking well pound sand.
