So no kings is a misnomer

does no justice to real kings

It shows the political ignorance of the Left. It would be funny, but that ignorance makes them malliable, manipulated and dangerous in some circumstances.

kings are the wrong enemies

Except the anti-Republican and anti-Christian king Donald Trump who's also an anti-European and anti-American 'autocrat in the making'.

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul canceled his trip to China because no one wanted to meet with him, Die Welt reports.

The publication notes that Friedrich Merz has been in power for six months but has not yet visited China. The cabinet had reserved days for his trip, but Xi Jinping did not find time for a meeting. Now Wadefu has canceled the trip due to the inability to coordinate meetings with the Chinese side.

The topics for discussion were important. The German economy is concerned about China's restrictions on exports of rare earth metals and semiconductors.

The economic consequences could be serious: Germany's automotive industry is already waiting for other signals from Merz, and criticism within the ruling coalition is growing.

Merz's predecessors, Merkel and Scholz, pursued a more balanced policy toward China, writes Die Welt.

I hope they are, we had a brutal civil War in England because a arrogant Monarch King Charles thought he had a divine right to rule especually on taxes, he lost his head and Parliament ruled, then the idiots restored the Monarchy with King Charles Son who was a debauched wast of space and we have had them inflicted on us ever since.

I believe Porsche sales are over 90% down.

A real king wouldn't need to deal with congress or judges.
You don’t understand the role of the monarchy in modern constitutional monarchies

The monarchy is the “dignified” and the parliament/prime minister etc. are the “efficient”.

It is the job of the dignified to inspire the public and create a sense of permanence. It is historic, venerable and theatric. It is purely symbolic and the sovereign never so much as voices an opinion on contemporary political events. It is above all that.

The job of the efficient is the actual day-to-day running of the government by the prime minister, cabinet, parliament. They obviously have all the real, practical power but the theory is that they are granted greater legitimacy by the existence of the dignified.

that was a long time ago

Indeed it was in the 17th century, but my point is Civil wars are the most brutal and bitter, just look at the horror of the American civil war, a short distance from where i live is a former Stately home now owned by the Council and is now a Museum the family who owned the property were Royalists in the Civil war, when the war ended the owner was beheaded and his head was placed on a spike in London, after the death of Cromwell and the Monarchy was restored and the Son of Charles the first became king he had the body of Oliver Cromwell dug up who died in 1658 along with other of his Parliamentary leaders then left the bodies hanging for days in London before being beheaded.
