What was discussed was redacted. Perhaps they thought this was attorney client privilege or some nonsense.

Here's a barely readable copy of what the unredacted file says.

Asked whether Epstein was expelled from Mar al Lago: "No, he was not a member. May have been a guest. Never asked to leave."

Well, Trump said that Epstein was expelled.

The last part someone confirms that Epstein was never asked to leave.

The document was redacted. I can't see any reasons why. Seems very suspicious that they're redacting documents that relate to Trump, that should never have been redacted.

We'll never see the worst of this stuff. And I have no doubt that much has been incinerated. This is a massive, global story, a huge, long-running sexual perversion playground of the elite, and half the country doesn't want to talk about it, just in case.

It would have been much better if Trump played no role in this, if he never knew Epstein. Now all these guys are going to get away with what they did to those young girls. Hopefully enough evidence will remain that they get nailed in a future administration.

For now, though, they're protected, along with him.

it was up to congress not Garland.
Because documents were locked down by ongoing judicial cases, it would require congress to upend those cases.
