1. Chuck and Nancy would NOT have been sitting next to trump as representatives of the minority party

2. Trump relegated Mitch and Paul to the table's end (they looked real happy abiut that...LOL)

3. Fuck head Donald......the so-called "greatest deal maker who ever walked the planet" just blew it about getting the government to stay open beyond Dec. 8th.

4. If......a big IF.....the tax bill gets through congress,it will be without even ONE Dem.vote.....(and ALL the ensuing blame will be on the GOP.

I have to hand it to the Donald, that was a very savvy political move, the optics of the empty chairs with Schumer and Pelosi's names on them is what will be remembered by the general public if/when a government shutdown occurs and the Democrats might actually catch most of the blame this time around.

President Twitter & Co. can just run that picture along with a caption "I tried to negotiate with them but they refused to even show up".

And that's the bottom line. The democrats have used the government shutdown several times recently to score cheap political points, and have been successful in blaming the Republicans. They're not accustomed to someone actually exposing their agenda and calling them on it.
