Warren introduces bill to revoke Medals of Honor awarded for Wounded Knee Massacre

She seems to have some backing.

"The Remove the Stain Act was co-sponsored by Warren's fellow Democratic 2020 contenders and Senate colleagues Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Kamala Harris of California, in addition to Sens. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., Ron Wydan, D-Ore., and Patrick Leahy, D-Vt. "

It’s a pointless gesture. It has no meaning or consequence. This is very typical political grandstanding. Warren is a stupid snatch.

It's certainly grandstanding. There's no questioning that.

So far as the medals themselves go, they never should have been awarded in the first place. There was nothing honorable about how that all went down. It's an insult to those who have truly earned the medal. In fact, it degrades the award itself. Or should.
