the drone flew about 3:50 p.m. for about 11 minutes, apparently livestreaming over an area about 200 yards from the stage where Trump spoke, Wray said.
The gunman sent encrypted messages before the attack, which Wray said had "unfortunately become very commonplace" to thwart law enforcement.
The drone thing isn't exactly new. I had heard that Crooks was there earlier in the day and had probably flown a drone over the area. But, according to Christopher Wray, the drone was flown over the area just two hours before Trump's speech. Two hours? Did the SS not see a drone fly over just two hours before the speech? Or, did they see the drone and just think it was the local media? Were the SS not even there two hours before the speech?
Then, Christopher Wray says that crooks sent encrypted messages just before the attack. Why would he do that? Unless he was sending messages to someone or someones or posting on some platform. Too bad Lady Chatterly isn't around anymore or she could non-answer those questions as well.
