The left has engaged in a lot of hand wringing over Nick Shirley, but he's simply been bringing to the public eye what the government has known about for years but hasn't done a lot about, especially at the state level. Fraud has been particularly rampant in states like California and Minnesota, states largely controlled by the Democrats, and that's why the left is so upset about people like Shirley talking about it. It's not that they believe he's wrong; it's that he's exposing the incompetence of their tribe.
