Billed as the “America’s Doctor and America’s Rabbi Israel tour,” Rabbi Shmuley Boteach’s non-profit, This World: The Jewish Values Network, on Wednesday announced plans to bring FOX TV’s Dr. Mehmet Oz to Israel for a week beginning July 25. The trip is being sponsored by casino magnate and Jewish mega-donor Sheldon Adelson.

“For a long time, I’ve wanted to bring Mehmet and Lisa [Mrs. Oz] to Israel given their amazing friendship with our community and the global impact Mehmet makes through every medium to preserve and protect human life,” said Rabbi Shmuley.

Dr. Oz, a Muslim who has expressed pride in his Turkish heritage, said he is “delighted” to travel to Israel and will be accompanied by his wife, their four children and son-in-law. “Being of Turkish and of the Muslim faith, I have always appreciated the deep ties and friendship between the Turkish people and the Israeli people,” Dr. Oz said.

My sympathies to you, Mr. Karl Marx (or is it Mr. Joseph Stalin) , that the American people do not fall for your communist nonsense. Maybe that is why you see many Russians moving here because they got tired of the communist b.s. in Russia. As an aside, the late editor of Pakistan Today (a Muslim) traveled to Israel and there was no rioting or terrorist attacks by the Muslims there at the time.
