Trump cannot post enough staged photos of himself eating taco bowls on social media to recover his drastic loss of support in the Latino demographic. Latinos were a significant factor in his recent election.
New polling conducted by Somos Votantes and the Global Strategy Group between August 26 and September 4 shows that Trump's net approval rating among Latino voters has dropped from -11 points in February to -23 points in September.
His favorability rating has seen a similar drop, from -12 points in February to -20 points in September.
Ouch!
Some wiseass will point out Trump is not up for re-election (maybe, right?), but he has commited so many high crimes and misdemeanors that he is surely worried about his tit being caught in another impeachment wringer if the Democrats take the House back. So his popularity coattails matter. Mid-terms are always a mandate of the incumbent's policies.
Despite having a low favorability rating themselves, the Democrats' biggest turnout booster is Donald Trump. He's giving the Democrats a large number of issues to hammer on for the mid-terms.
Should be fun!
