Actually I found out the other day why Trump is doing this. It isn't because he's trying to win deep dark blue states that he has no chance in. Harris has a fund raising advantage over Trump so Trump is holding rallies in big cities in deep blue states because it will force the media to cover Trump and get his word out to the battleground states which do matter - free advertising instead of having to pay for it like Kamala Harris. Whoever thought of doing this is brilliant.
