Oil prices rise more than 2% after Trump cancels meetings with Iran, tells protesters help is on the way

Crude oil prices rose more than 2% on Tuesday, after U.S. President Donald Trump canceled all meetings with Iranian officials and promised protesters that help is on the way.

U.S. crude oil rose $1.65, or 2.77%, to close at $61.15 per barrel. Global benchmark Brent gained $1.60, or 2.51%, to settle at $65.47 per barrel.

The Islamic Republic’s security forces have cracked down on large-scale demonstrations with hundreds of people reportedly dead. The government has cut off Internet access in Iran, making it difficult to verify how the situation is evolving on the ground.

Trump has repeatedly threatened to intervene if the Islamic Republic kills protestors.

“Iranian Patriots, KEEP PROTESTING - TAKE OVER YOUR INSTITUTIONS!!! Save the names of the killers and abusers,” Trump said in a Truth Social post Tuesday.

“They will pay a big price,” the president said. “I have cancelled all meetings with Iranian Officials until the senseless killing of protesters STOPS. HELP IS ON ITS WAY. MIGA!!!”

I thought he had a genuine aversion to sending military personnel in to harm's way. An admirable quality. One could make the argument no soldiers were at risk during the extralegal killings in the Caribbean. But they certainly were during the extraction of Maduro from VZ.

Now, as if there isn't enough turmoil in the country after Good's murder, he has told Iranian protesters he intends to meddle in domestic affairs there.

Thank goodness we have experienced, level headed people like Hegseth and Gabbard around to temper Don's reckless impulses. ;)

Lol!

Did he say that's what we were doing? There are ways we can assist the rebels without sending in our own soldiers.

Great job president Trump. It has been a very long time since we've had a president this good.

Trump says anything less than U.S. control of Greenland is ‘unacceptable’ ahead of crunch talks

The Trump administration is poised for crunch talks with Greenlandic and Danish officials on Wednesday, amid the U.S. president’s ongoing push to take control of Greenland.

Greenland Foreign Minister Vivian Motzfeldt and her Danish counterpart, Lars Lokke Rasmussen, are expected to convene at the White House for talks with U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

In a social media post on Wednesday, the U.S. president said anything less than Greenland becoming a part of the United States would be “unacceptable.”

“The United States needs Greenland for the purpose of National Security. It is vital for the Golden Dome that we are building. NATO should be leading the way for us to get it,” Trump said on Truth Social.

“NATO becomes far more formidable and effective with Greenland in the hands of the UNITED STATES. Anything less than that is unacceptable,” he added.

What happens if Greenland Foreign Minister Vivian Motzfeldt and her Danish counterpart, Lars Lokke Rasmussen, tell Little Marco and the regime attack dog known as JD to piss off?

2% is better than the 100%+ like Biden made fuel prices rise, dumbass.
Highest fuel prices ever in America and depleted the National Reserve. STFU.
Also, that's for them, not us. We have all the oil we need.

A YT channel said Jews are trying to talk Trump down from attacking Iran. That must mean attack on Iran is immanent.

Get new talking points

I heard that every day during the Iraq war

This...is accurate.
Trump stopped Israel from attacking Iran.
This is different. Infrastructure will not be targeted. It will be the IRGC and mullahs.
We do need our Israeli allies, though. And they need to get the **** back once they target something.
Because the boom is a-coming. And if they don't want to provide good intel, we'll get our own.
But the Iranian people are in a bad way today. :(
What others need to understand is the Iranian people aren't bad, it's their government, and it has been since 1979.
IRGC says they will start mass executions of protestors today.
What if the Trump government was doing that to the blue-haired noseringed protestors here, huh?
Huh, lefties?
This is America. Be glad with what you got and pray.
