You just concentrate on a good walk today and some sit ups this evening-- and eat wisely and healthily .No alcohol.

Join one of those weight loss groups. They have meetings like the alcoholics, do stuff as a group like going on hikes together and support each other. You may meet someone you like and if not, you stay motivated and lose some weight.

If you got something like the Meetup App, you find all kinds of little local groups. If you just hang out with guys you ain't gonna meet many women.
