I don't remember ever seeing this car (I guess it's a car) back in the 80's, never seen one up close before.

Now I guess Dodge is bringing it back as a full sized truck, albeit smaller than the Ram, and calling it the Ram Rampage. Unfortunately, they are not selling it in the U.S., for reasons unknown to me, not sure if they still have the Dakota.

I remember seeing a few of those back in the day.

But it was a "why bother" type of thing with all the small Jap. PUs available at the time.

In fact the new one amounts to a "why brother" type of thing too what with all the other useless 4' beds out there.

They need to lose the crew cab and have an actual shortbed pickup. It clearly is a 'why bother' for truck owners in this country, according to Dodge.

The 2006 concept was kind of cool, had they have built it, a 5.7L Hemi FWD.

I do rermember the El Camino and Ranchero, I remember seeing them as a kid, but Dodge had so many different 1980's small cars, like the Dodge Aries/K Car. My first car was the Dart.

My first car was a 1941 Chevy Club Coupe, I bought it in 1969 for $75.00. The photo is just an example of what it looked like.

No, it was an answer to the VW Rabbit pickup and Subaru Brat.

The Rabbit PU didn't come out till 79 and the Subaru Brat till 78, long after the Ranchero and El Camino.
