In a Republic, actually
‘Dr. Jonathan Reiner, cardiologist to the late former Vice President Dick Cheney, called on Monday for a congressional inquiry into President Trump’s fitness. Reiner, a CNN medical analyst, cited Trump’s recent letter to Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, in which he appeared to link his threats to acquire Greenland to his having not been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

“This letter, and the fact that the president directed that it be distributed to other European countries, should trigger a bipartisan congressional inquiry into presidential fitness,” Reiner wrote on the social platform X. Trump’s message, which was shared with multiple European ambassadors, questioned why Denmark has a “right of ownership” over Greenland, a semiautonomous Arctic territory rich in minerals and seen as key to security in the region.

Trump’s continued efforts to acquire Greenland despite pushback from European allies has raised alarm in and out of the country. “The president of the United States is extremely mentally ill and it’s putting all of our lives at risk. The 25th Amendment exists for a reason—we need to invoke it immediately,” Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-Ariz.) said in an X post, sharing the letter to Støre.

Reiner has previously raised questions about the president’s health and regimen. Last month, he said Trump’s aspirin regimen, which was detailed to the Wall Street Journal, “makes no sense.”’

We do - but that’s not going to happen.

And there’ll be no congressional inquiry as long as Republicans are in control.

Republicans are as unfit to govern as Trump.

I do not disagree with his reasoning, but he is a heart doctor, not head doctor.

Yep......Trump is taking a nap he reminds me of Sleepy Joe Biden.
Problem with you Democrats is Trump doesn't sleep much.
Yes, sleep deprivation can lead to paranoia as it affects the brain's ability to function properly, resulting in confusion and distorted perceptions of reality. Lack of sleep can trigger symptoms such as heightened anxiety and hallucinations, which may contribute to feelings of paranoia.

Trump doesn't have sleep deprivation.
He just doesn't like sleeping 8 hours a day.
I used to only sleep 4 hours a day.
Trump does it for different reasons.
I did it because I had to watch my wife.
He does it because he's always trying to work.

It is not good for him, especially at his age. He is becoming increasingly erratic.

Cheney, who??? Oh that one, under W

That's nice & all, but also means that DR is geriatric himself.......WTF does he know?

It's time, and all of Congress knows it. Trump's letter shows someone who has lost his grip on reality.

15th post
Most docs that are worth spit, avoid making diagnoses without a personal exam. SMH--no wonder this quack is on CNN.

The left just keep grasping at straws by throwing shit to the wind to see what sticks.....it doesn't

This DR, right along with all those celebrities, former (fill in the blank) and 'unnamed sources who wish to remain annonymous', etc have never, nor will ever change anyones mind one way or the other.....of those that even have a mind worth changing

It's exhausting
