It is much better to be spiritual rather than religious. Far too much harm is done in the name of religion and GOD. The whole concept of good and evil comes down to you. You don't have to look far for heaven or hell , they are both right here on earth. You make the choice every day on which you want to create here. Love for all , especially those you believe to be sinners will create heaven on earth.Hatred for the same people will create a hell , not just for you but everyone. Which do you want to create ?
