While I was just busy cleaning house getting ready for Thanksgiving company and honestly I don't understand how there's people out there who enjoys it. I know that it has to be done but that's the only part that I dread about the holidays since I love cooking and baking but I despise cleaning with a passion.

You enjoy it when you’re pleased with the result.

You enjoy it during when you anticipate being pleased with the result.

True. I very much enjoy being done with it. 😁

I do not mind cleaning. But I have been doing it most of my life and my dog and I do not make much mess. I have always been one of those that likes what I call a “lived in look”. I do not get excited and have to clean if I see a bit of dust or a leaf that gets drug in by accident.

Yeah I'm talking about deep cleaning here as nobody else can understand why I usually leave my laundry right by my bed but that's because I often wear the same clothes a few days in a row so why pick it up if I'm only just going to wear it the next day anyways?

My female relatives are as busy as the woman vacuuming the flying carpet while in flight.

They love.

I have point out that they could make a very good living by opening "We Clean Your Home Superbly."

They all say, "No, that would be work."

Why wouldn't it work?

It would work and very successfully.

But, to them, cleaning for money is not fun.

You are woman. Do you agree with them.

Cleaning is just another thing on a long list of things that people don't want to do but should do. People can be very contrarian.

I don't mind work at all. Even when I was 18 and hiding out in the deer park village at the exhibit circus, living in one of the little elves' shacks with my duffle and sleeping back and backpack, I enjoyed the work. it was shoveling deer shit every single night for three weeks. Bought a cycle with a side car and fled the area. The cops never caught me.

Nasty

What is? Except I obviously don't wear the same underwear multiple days in a row and usually not socks, but that just means less laundry on laundry day. (Usually Monday for me. )

Obviously? No, you roll out of bed and put dirty clothes on over the dirty underwear. Nasty.

I chaffed at weekly house cleaning when I was a kid at home. We couldn't go out and play until our assigned cleaning chores were done. Then one day as I finished my work and looked around a feeling of pride in my home swept over me. I think I was 16 at the time and never looked at house cleaning negatively again.

In fact, I just bought a carpet cleaner and cleaned all the carpets in my house. It was fun and I can't wait to do it again. :)

I do not need to do the so called deep cleaning as a part of what most call deep cleaning is on my normal cleaning routine. After about four weeks I start all over again.
One week I may wash the walls in one of my spare bedrooms and clean the refrigerator completely. Then a few days later wash the walls in the other spare room and completely clean the guest bathroom. On and on.
At the same time as I do this I dust all areas. Do laundry, clean master bathroom. wash all the countertops, vacuum and mop.

It was part of my work in property repairs and maintenance it does give a feeling of satisfaction to clean in a quality fashion.
