Sadist or not there’s not a lot of good journalism around these days.

Who? What? When? Where? Why? How? Those bygone cornerstones of journalism have been rotting for a long time now, mostly from lack of use compared to the workouts they used to get when double and triple sourcing things were the footings supporting them. The old days. They weren’t perfect but they sure as hell weren’t today’s cesspools of predominantly lefty dogma of any and all extremes. Today the J schools have streamlined the old process, refined it down to the much much simpler...someone said. That’s it. Someone said something. Nobody has to come forth and identify themselves as the someone. It’s sort of an honor system thing they’ve got going I guess. Plus the benefit of only appealing to low info nitwits anyway makes the job like playing the Washington Generals everyday. You control the outcome.
