With the enshittification of the Internet, we see a lot of ads. I seen a lot of NSFW ads on family friendly websites like YouTube. Then we have outright scams as ads. Also there are ads that spread malware. (Gross) Then there are scam dating ads we all seen at one point or another. Ads are just getting worse and worse every year. So I ask this question. How many of y'all use adblocks such as browser extensions or browsers like Brave?

If you're using Google as a browser go to your Android settings and shut off notification permission for Google.

It will decrease the ad interference by about 95%.

ENSHITIFICATION .... Is an awesome new word!

Ublock does most of the work, but many youtube vids have ads in the content. Youtube won't allow skipping ahead in the video, but that may be a temporary condition in this version of Firefox. Videos posted here don't have that flaw. I use various third party sites, frontends, which youtube tries to block, so I don't know which sites work at that moment until I watch a video. Or I watch something else on the various new competitors: Rumble, Odysee, Bitchute, etc.
