Do Komodo Dragons kill by bacteria or Venom? Or???

This has long been debated by zoologists and scientists.
Papers are written on this subject.

Scientists have even had papers rejected or slowed to a snail pace over this issue.
Reminds me of the stuff about climate as well. When there is resistance, you will not get published. Dr. Lindzen for example has published over 250 papers and still he is called in the pay of oil companies. He told me this is fiction.

But to go to Komodo dragons, it turns out that recent science says not venom or bacteria. Supposedly the mouth of the lizard is as clean as a 3-year-old child mouth. That surprised me a lot. Supposedly a study located venom glands yet the dead victims when tested for venom, none was found in goats as an example.
