Nearly a year out from the 2026 midterm elections, Democrats are facing a money problem, having only $15 million on hand compared to Republicans, who have $80 million.

While some polling suggests Democrats have a small lead, thanks to some of President Donald Trump’s unpopular policies, such as tariffs and his harsh mass deportation plan, the Democratic National Committee does not appear to be enticing donors.

Just a suggestion, perhaps it's time to send a bill to Kamala trying to get some kind of refund. Plan B: Looneys get off your butts and donate more...much more.

The Democrats are so caught in hating on Trump and Trumpers, they dont seem to understand that they have to offer a new set of policies if they want to get back to winning elections.
Biggest problem seems to be there is no Democrat leader, once they find one, that leader will tell them what to think and do. Because they sure the hell can't think on their own.

I'm still waiting for Trump to: audit the Ukrainian Money Laundering Operation, release the Congressional sexual assault payoff fund, audit the NGO's, set up a national voter database consisting only of US Citizens....and the band played on

They arrogantly think it has nothing to do with their policies, all they have to do is get the message out that Orange Man Bad. Apparently they think there is a messaging problem and that Americans haven't gotten the message that Orange Man Bad.

It's the unregulated money flowing into PACs that you have to pay attention to.

Citizens United was the worst SCOTUS decision since Dread Scott.
The Citizens United decision essentially ruled that states can't outlaw corporate donations if they allow labor union donations. What is your problem with that?

Well this certainly didn't help the cause.

The Democrats are trailing Republicans in campaign finances after spending more than $15m (£11m) this year paying off Kamala Harris’s outstanding campaign fees.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) had $15m (£11m) on hand at the end of June compared to the Republican National Committee’s $80m (£60m).

The rule should be:

If you don't vote, you don't donate.

Applies across the board to corporations, unions, churches, PAC's, NGO's, and all other non voting entities.
