Which is an absurdity. The majority of weapons used by NATO are American made and so the US economy benefits greatly from NATO. If the US pulled out and the remaining members said "OK we'll start getting our weapons from EU suppliers going forward not the US" I think Trump would not be happy.

The US has 40% of the entire global arms market, so please don't cry poor, the US loves war else how could they sell all those weapons...
