No, definitely not in a Catholic school in the 50's and 60's. But it was show and tell in the cloak rooms and when school let out. High school more girls got pregnant than you could shake your willy at.

I didn't know people had sex back then! All the TV shows had people sleeping in separate twin beds! Are you sure Catholics even knew what sex was? Did they know how people got pregnant?

It was part of our 9th grade health curriculum complete with condom on banana demonstration LOL. I missed most of that week with the flu so the banana show was the only thing I really recall them teaching. Apparently half the class was out sick with the same crap so perhaps they should have taught How Not To Spread Your Nasty Germs instead.

We had sex ed in 10th grade, but it focused mostly on VD, a little much for 10th graders. Our teacher's face was as red as a plum when she got to the icky stuff.

Our alcoholic football coach got stuck teaching typing class. He didn't like it. I took the class as I wanted to learn how type. There was one other guy in the class, and yes, he was gay. If they didn't know me better some of my classmates might have thought I was gay.

You know you have a point there as the catholic girls just knew it felt good and like any kids that have been told that's a no, no, just had to try it. They didn't need any stinkin beds.

In catholic school we were taught sex is basically abnormal. They did say people should procreate. They were off on that one.
