Did Democrats start a war to raise the price of gas just so they could wean us off of oil?

It's looking more and more like this is the case.

Democrats have been raising the price of gas at the pump since the day Biden took office. Now the price is $7/gal in some places. This is hurting everyone.

Their answer is this: All we have to do is spend $50-75k for a new electric car.

This was bound to happen when Biden bailed on Afghanistan. Biden proved that his word was worthless and so are our commitments. We cannot be counted to do what we always do....take the lead in anything....because we have Joe Biden in the White House.

The world oil market is largely immune from Biden's stupidity. The U.S. oil industry cannot simply ramp up production in response to a short-term situation - especially one that works to their benefit. The President has no power to force them to do so, even if he wanted to.

Regardless, the United States MUST put itself on a trajectory that ultimately leads to total non-reliance on fossil fuels. To deny this is simply stupid.
