The moment I saw the video of this event, watching Trumps reaction when Seth Meyers in particular (though Obama did make some playful jokes also), I felt Trumps determination.

Now, how much would the odds have been at that time for Trump to win, not only the GOP nomination in 2016, survive two impeachments, lose again the next cycle, win the nomination again suffer two assassination attempts, and, finally win re-election again in 2024?

Seriously, what would the odds have been in Vegas if there was such a parlay? 2 million to 1? They could lay those ridiculous odds and feel comfortable in 2015 that no one was going to cash out this ticket in 2024. Yet, here we are.

I think Kamala's no-show at the 2024 dinner was the final nail in her campaign's coffin. When she couldn't even appear before a friendly audience, I think a lot of Democrats had enough. They may not have voted for Trump, but they did vote for Kamala either.

I thought the same thing. Never expected Trump to run and win but thought to myself, that is a not a good idea, Obama. Trump thrives on revenge. The question now is how developed is his dementia? Many who have it get meaner.
