The moment I saw the video of this event, watching Trumps reaction when Seth Meyers in particular (though Obama did make some playful jokes also), I felt Trumps determination.
Now, how much would the odds have been at that time for Trump to win, not only the GOP nomination in 2016, survive two impeachments, lose again the next cycle, win the nomination again suffer two assassination attempts, and, finally win re-election again in 2024?
Seriously, what would the odds have been in Vegas if there was such a parlay? 2 million to 1? They could lay those ridiculous odds and feel comfortable in 2015 that no one was going to cash out this ticket in 2024. Yet, here we are.
Did it all begin the night of April 30th, 2011?
