Sheriffs were trying to evict a man who in turn refused to leave the premises forcing a detective to come in, who he proceeded to murder.

Unfortunately for the murderer, he somehow ended up getting run over by the armored vehicle that showed up to help deal with him.

A detective with the Tulare County Sheriff's Office was killed as he came to the aid of officers who were shot at after serving an eviction notice. A standoff followed.
