Thoughts From an Independent.

The Democratic party has no clear message, and no clear messenger. Normally this would be a recipe for another set of losses in the next 2 elections, however with the GOP controlling both houses of Congress and the Whitehouse, Trump and Co. is having a hard time blaming this shutdown on the Democrats - especially considering the 34 Republicans who are breaking ranks and voting with Democrats. A partial list includes Lauren Boebert, Scott Perry, Thomas Massie, Lance Gooden, and Tony Gonzalez. In addition, Trump's plans to send National guard troops into blue states is opposed by 50% of voters, with only 37% favoring the idea.

As an Independent, I'm opposed to the Liberal notion that we must coddle every racial and sexual minority on the planet, just as I'm opposed the MAGA crowd's habit of labeling every news story they don't like to hear as "fake news" - -

Nevertheless, despite their aimless wandering, I think the Dem's will probably back into wins in the next 2 elections.

Anyone who understands the CR requires 60 votes in the Senate, realizes who is responsible for the shutdown.

By the way, that's pretty much everyone, except a small minority of stupid people.

I don't know....The Virginia governor's race has really tightened with gop leaning districts far out pacing dem districts in the early voting.

The haughty vile dem ***** (Spanberger) had a healthy double digit lead this time last month but it's within 3 points now.....Which really means it's neck and neck.

J. Jones is near 10 points down for the AG spot and even some of the more moderate dems in our House/Senate are sorta jumping ship and supporting gop hopefuls over far left dems running in some districts.

It doesnt look good for democrats. The party of criminal's illegals, gender absurdity, spending, hate speech and the lowest approvals in their history.

If the Progs win Virginia and New Jersey, they deserve what they get. Normalizing extremism and promoting normal as extremism is suicidal.

Seems to me that backing into wins is how presidential elections normally go as voters aren't trusting of either party to provide them an extensive stay in office.

I suspect that the Democratic strategy at the moment is to keep handing the MAGAs rope.

Did you see the witch in that debate? When Winsome-Sears was asking how she could continue to endorse the AG candidate who dreamed about killing his opponent and his children, all she could do was star straight ahead with a nasty smirk.

We learned in 2020 that it puts us at a disadvantage if we wait for Election Day, so we’ve adapted.

Maybe you Dems should learn something - like Americans have rejected your woke agenda and love for illegals - and adapt as well.

Their strategy is keep illegals in the country bribe them with benefits and have them counted in the census. Not going to happen
The next census is 2030. By then, Trump will have completed his term and Vance/Rubio will be halfway through theirs. I bet bynthen we can : 1) get rid of the majority of illegals, and 2) get a question about citizenship on the questionnaire.

Agreed. Trump is his own worst enemy politically.

The only way Democrats can win is by rigging elections.

So you don't hate it anymore?

That’s a pretty safe bet based on history. The stupid American keep voting for the two criminal gangs who are very much alike, somehow thinking this will change things for the better.

When will they ever learn?
