SACRAMENTO — California Democrats say they’ll clean up this mess. But in a governor’s race that has all the makings of a debacle, they’re digging themselves deeper.

With a sprawling field threatening to split the vote and hand the governorship to a Republican, a late-hour effort failed to persuade longshot contenders to drop out. A preeminent labor group split its coveted endorsement four ways, elevating no one. And in the most recent upheaval, a televised debate was hastily canceled after an uproar from within the party that leaving out low-polling candidates of color would produce an all-white stage.

Democratic political professionals here largely insist the field will consolidate once campaigns start running more ads and voters tune in, averting a scenario where Democrats are locked out of the general election. But a dearth of star candidates and the vagaries of California’s top-two election system have pushed California Democrats into precarious new terrain.

“We know there’s this risk ahead — a 15 percent chance of calamity. It’s not a 15 percent chance of stubbing your toe, it’s a 15 percent chance of losing the governorship, losing the down-ballot races,” said Paul Mitchell, a leading Democratic data strategist in the state."

The problem with Democrat rule is Democrat rule itself. They are corrupt progressive fanatics who are incapable of governing.

Not really....
Party unity was ONCE realized by Republicans during Ronald Reagan's Presidency and Newt Gingrich's tenure as Speaker. (Bush Sr. Losing in it the middle and Bush Jr never knowing what it was)

Tip O'Neil had it, so did the Clintons....only Al Gore lost it as well as his wife....Obama never really had any. He paid for loyalty. And paid for loyalty only created performance outrage and ridiculous goals.

There exists a "wildlife" park in Nashville TN that the environmental groups have gotten hold of. And it's a popular walking park.

It's full of wild turkeys, owls, deer, beavers and of course turtles.

It once was a mill a long time ago....so there is a damage that creates Radnor Lake/pond. And a subdivision around it. Meaning paved roads. But since no proper road bed was ever built or created the entire asphalt road is sliding off into the water.

Meanwhile duck weed/pond scum (small green Lilly no flowers) has gotten into the pond and begun growing unrestricted....so the water's surface is now bright green. Meanwhile beavers are downing trees across trails and paths to the point people cant walk or push baby carriages anymore.

All these things have been discussed and debated vigorously as to what can be done vx what should be done in an environmentally friendly fashion....with zero conclusions.

I know that I was working for a European Chef in the 90's and the restaurant owner was upset he imported a live turtle for terrapin soup. (Illegal on several fronts but whatever) So the owner turned lose that turtle into this park. I'm sure he bred vigorously.
Meanwhile....the Board of Directors over the park have never come to a single conclusion as to how to fix anything with the park and things continue to degrade and get worse. The asphalt poisoning the water, the pond scum growing unrestricted. The beavers blocking paths and destroying valuable and expensive trees planted by donors.
