Washington - The Democrat party has decided to, for the first time, try to make amends with Donald Trump by offering him this skillfully crafted wooden horse that is set to go on display in the Oval office during the Fourth of July festivities. "I guess we were wrong about the democrat party", said one staffer in the White House. "I guess we can maybe learn to negotiate with them.....................finally."
But not everyone was as positive about the news. Secretary of Defense..........or is it Secretary of War.............I know, Secretary of the apocalypse, Pete Hegseth, was quoted as saying, "What we want is Congressional bipartisanship, and not stupidly sculpted wooden horses, but Ok, go ahead and put that horse in the ballroom till we are ready. And to think, they did not even bother to paint it!!"
No word on how many assassins may be hidden within the wooden beast, but the damn trick seems to work pretty much every time throughout recoded history anyway. Not sure why.
