And this was even before Trump managed to lose a war to a country armed with the equivalent of sticks and stones:

In Wisconsin’s Supreme Court election, the Democratic-backed candidate sailed to a nearly 20-point landslide victory

In the seat vacated by MTG, where Trump won by 30% in the general election, the Republican Mr. Fuller won by 14% in which is being called "the largest Democratic overperformance in a House special election since Trump took office ".

What's going on guys?

The mid-terms are probably going to see the usual big shift in U.S politics. I will say it again that Trumps biggest lead in his second term was when he loudly stood up against China and hit them with 150% tariff or whatever it was. When Chinas economy started reeling,.the comments online were.very supportive. The Dem voters kept trying to silence with comments such as "it is.going to get expensive for Americans!" but they were met with stronger support of the tariffs. It was the one issue Americans were willing to sacrifice for as they see the long term danger China brings. I only hope Canada understands the same, we cannot lose Western Values and replace them with Chinas. Can Trump resurrect his first few months in his second term when he was super MAGA focused?

lol one Dem judge won, and they still lost MTG's seat to a Republican, and this idiot thinks it party time? lol what a clown.

Low turnout mid-terms, and we know Democrats blew huge bux for almost no gains.

Democratic Spending in Wisconsin Ahead of Midterms

Wisconsin Democrats have significantly outpaced Republicans in both fundraising and spending as the November 2026 midterms approach, giving them a strong financial edge in the state.

Fundraising surge
In February 2026, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin raised about $1.5 million in federal accounts, compared to roughly $167,000 for the Republican Party of Wisconsin Wisconsin Public Radio+1. This represents a ninefold fundraising advantage for Democrats.

Spending lead
Democrats also led in expenditures during the same month, spending about $862,000 on federal campaigns, while Republicans spent around $168,000 Wisconsin Public Radio+1. This spending advantage reflects their ability to fund candidates in U.S. Senate and House races.

Reserves ahead of midterms
By the end of February, Democrats ended with about $1.2 million in reserves, compared to Republicans’ $597,000 Wisconsin Public Radio+1. This financial cushion allows them to sustain campaigns through the high-stakes midterm cycle.

Hilarious ... 9 to 1 fundraising advantage, and they still lost.

Hey, I thought it was the GOP that was supposed to be the darlings of the filthy rich n stuff?
