There has not been an administration that has lied like this one.
True. The others lied differently.
One's administratio's lies led to millions and millions of Americans losing their healthcare plans and / or choice of doctors.
One led to a terrorists Caliphate being created, and terrorists being funded with 100s of $Billions.
One led to the illegal spying of the opposition campaign.
One led to the IRS being used to silence political opponents.
None of these things happened.
It's a little vague but basically yes it did under Obama. The "you can keep your doctor if you like your doctor" was a lie. No, millions and millions did not lose their plans but they saw changes to them that they were told would not happen.
100's of Billions? I don't know how you measure that but the Obama administration did arm Isis out of Libya to fight in Syria. Something he promised not to do.
Spying? The courts snacked the Obama administration down more than once over it's spying. You can argue all day about who they targeted but it was wrong, period. You would think a "Constitutional Scholar" would know better wouldn't you?
It was proven the IRS went after politics on the right. This did a lot of damage to the country.

the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) issued a report last week that showed that the supposedly scandalous behavior never happened.
There is no dissembling here sb. This is an official decision by the investigator of this situation. What Lois Lerner did not do is irrelevant. The IG said there was no such scandal.
The original claim was that the filters that the IRS's tax-exempt organizations unit had used were biased against right-wing groups. Now, it turns out that even that was not true. In addition to keywords like "tea party," the unit was also looking for words like "occupy," "progressive," and "green energy."
The new TIGTA report notes that one of the search terms that the IRS used that would pick up left-leaning groups was "acorn." As The Times notes, ACORN is "the acronym for the now defunct Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now."
These 3 paragraphs destroy the conservative lie about how Obama targeted conservatives. It did not happen sb and that is all there is to it. Lerner pleading the fifth doesn't make the discovery of the IG wrong. In fact it shows a republican witch hunt looking for a reason to impeach a dutifully elected president that won the popular vote and electoral vote only due to partisanship and in some cases racism.
But the interesting question is why ACORN is now defunct. That group was itself the victim of what turned out to be a non-scandal, in which a right-wing group doctored videos to make it appear that the group was corrupt.
When that story broke, Democrats in Congress and the White House hid under their desks. Even after it became completely clear that the whole affair was a political hit job, Democrats simply allowed funding for ACORN's community organizing activities to be eliminated, and the group died.
Similarly, when the 501(c)(4) story first broke in 2013, the Obama Administration fired the acting IRS commissioner and acted as if something horrible had happened. (Those who remember Obama's baseless firing in 2010 of Shirley Sherrod, the victim of another doctored video, might start to notice a pattern.)
In the meantime, Republicans continue to use the IRS non-scandal as a reason to "punish" the agency with further cuts to its budget. Even if the Republicans cannot get their act together this year to cut taxes for rich people and corporations, they can continue to achieve the same end by making it all but impossible for the IRS to catch tax cheats.
The Republicans will never admit that there was no scandal. The Democrats will never make a concerted effort to educate the public. And the press will continue to say that it is all very complicated and that the two sides disagree.
This is from the folks that investigated this scandal. The hearings were fake. The IG found nothing. NOTHING! This was reported in 2017, so lets stop repeating right wing lies.
