Democrats File Articles Of Impeachment Against Little Black Boy With Cancer

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressional Democrats acted quickly to file articles of impeachment against D.J. Daniels, the young black cancer survivor that Trump honored during his speech last night.

During his speech to Congress, Trump deputized the young boy and made him an honorary Secret Service agent. Democrats say this type of obvious grab at power won't be tolerated.

"We must resist," Nancy Pelosi said in an interview on CNN. "No one elected D.J. Daniels! Trump simply appointed him to the Secret Service despite being only thirteen and totally unqualified. I have instructed members of my party to immediately file articles of impeachment against that little cancer kid."

While some in the Democratic party felt it might be unwise to come out as pro-pediatric cancer, Congressional leaders did not waver. "We will never cheer little black boys beating cancer and achieving their dreams," said Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. "That's exactly what Trump wants us to do. We will never support such tyranny."

At publishing time, Democrats had added a new sign to their little paddles reading "Yay brain cancer."

I'm kind of surprised that they didn't demand a confirmation hearing in the Senate.

Hakeem Jeffries added, "Appointing unqualified individuals to government positions is the same thing Hitler did. This is clearly another act of fascism. My staff are drafting articles of impeachment as we speak."

Ilhan Omar demanded that charges be filed against D. J. Daniels "for accepting this undeserved, unearned position of honor. Nobody is above the law. Nobody."

I guess you just missed the point of the satire, or avoided it, i.e., that it was sad and shameful that most congressional Democrats harbor such an irrational hatred of Trump that they could not even bring themselves to join him in honoring a 13-year-old black kid who beat cancer.

Instead of admitting, as a few Democrats have, that the Dems' failure to stand and cheer D. J. Daniels was embarrassing, pitiful, and wrong, you double-down with "I hope he is not on Medicaid," as if to say, "Trump may be praising him now, but he's going to kill the kid with cuts to Medicaid!"--even though Trump has not breathed a word about cutting Medicaid.

In fact, here's what Trump has said about Medicaid: "We love and cherish Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. . . . We’re not going to do anything with that, unless we can find some abuse or waste. The people won’t be affected. It will only be more effective and better.”
