Of course democrats aren't concerned by it.....this is, in fact, a revenue generating opportunity....they scrap the trains that they paid for that don't fit, raise more tax money for new trains that won't fit, and the politicians can tell voters they are "investing" even more money to make the train system better.

Mayor Jenny Durkan's office announced Tuesday the new streetcars purchased for the project may not be the right size.

The streetcars would eventually be used for the Center City Connector, which is supposed to link the South Lake Union Streetcar to the First Hill Line.
