Thankfully she is not in the position to run the US, perhaps she can do a better job at being a Grandmama.
...there are reasons for her collapse that had nothing to do with Mr. Comey. We’ll consider a few: –
- The vaunted Clinton campaign team misread voters and the electoral map...One longtime Democratic donor describes Mrs. Clinton’s approach as tantamount to “malpractice.”
- Mrs. Clinton never answered this basic question: Who was she and why was she running? In a campaign stop in September 2015, she described herself as “kind of moderate and center,” forgetting the identity she’d chosen for the primaries was that of a progressive. Her advisers were flummoxed. In an email exchange released by WikiLeaks in September 2015, a longtime confidante, Neera Tanden, wrote to campaign chairman John Podesta that Mrs. Clinton “doesn’t seem to know what planet we are all living in at the moment.”
- Maybe Mrs. Clinton was in the wrong line of work. The WikiLeaks emails from the 2016 Clinton campaign and a pattern emerges: Her aides believed that at a basic level she wasn’t a natural politician. In another WikiLeaks exchange of emails in September 2015, Ms. Tanden and Mr. Podesta commiserated about how her “instincts” were poor.
- Instinctively private, she placed barriers around herself in both of her presidential runs. She conceded during her speech at the Democratic convention in July that when it comes to “public service,” the “public” side of things is less appealing to her than the “service.”
