You look at this field, and there’s only one that’s won in a Trump state when Trump was on the ballot, or won statewide in a Trump state, period,

a smart lawyer running on governing a Republican state with a million people? BILL CLINTON

From the NYT:
"The 2020 field is full of legislators who have been part of Washington, and in the minority for most of their years there. To Bullock, that’s the essence of the problem. “Not doing a damn thing works for a lot of people. And it works really well for a lot of the interests that support the Republican Party. When government can’t work, [Republicans are] winning,” Bullock ERUPTED. “DC is now set up to have grand speeches, but not actually get anything done.”"

Steve Bullock, potential presidential candidate, teases ‘big announcement’

He says he entered the race so late because he had to wait for Montana's legislature, which meets for only a few months every two years, to conclude its work on some 300 bills.

Well I hope he brought his big boy britches to wear so he can handle them catching on fire as he out lies Trump for the win...

Barring some biblical catastrophe, no one can beat Trump.

Why Run For Senate And Win When You Can Run For President And Lose?

By Steve Bullcock, Beto O'Rourke, Julian Castro, and Cory Booker

Foreword by Stacey Abrams

Beto is polling at 2%. He could beat Cornyn in TX. Hickenlooper is polling at 1%. He could beat Gardner in CO. Bullock is polling at 0%. He could beat Daines in MT. Stacey Abrams isn’t even running. She could beat Perdue in GA.
